How you sign up
Texts are optional. You will never be asked to agree to them to use Pause or any other ClearPath service.
You can agree in two ways. At your intake meeting, John asks whether you want reminder texts and, if you do, checks the box with you in person. Or, any time later, you can check the box yourself on the Reminder texts screen in your Pause page. In both cases the box sits above the same notice about message frequency, rates, STOP and HELP, with links to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
When you agree, we record the date and time, whether you agreed in person with John or on your own Pause page, the version of the notice you saw, and the last four digits of your number. If you change your mind, that is recorded too. The records are kept so we can show when and how you agreed.
By agreeing you confirm that the number is yours (or that its owner agrees), and that you want ClearPath to text it with reminders.
How to stop the texts
- Reply STOP to any text. You may get one last message confirming, and then no more.
- Or uncheck the box on the Reminder texts screen in your Pause page.
- Or tell John, or email jganntx@gmail.com.
If you stop and want texts again later, check the box again on your Pause page or tell John. Pause works the same with or without texts.
